SMA Alumni
SMA alumni remain very active in the marine affairs community. As an alum, you are heartily encouraged to stay involved with the School's faculty, students, and your SMA colleagues all around the world.
As an SMA alum, you have access to the online Alumni Directory, where you can look up work contact information for more than half of the 400+ SMA alumni. (Note: If you no longer have the username and password, please send email to us at smaalum@u.washington.edu, and we will send you your username and a new password.)
If you can come visit at SMA and are willing to talk with students (a small group, a class talk, or one-on-one), we can let students know. And, we'd be delighted to have you serve as a panelist at career workshops scheduled throughout the year. (We always sponsor a careers panel as part of the larger UW Career Discovery Week in late January, so undergrads as well as our own grad students can hear about what SMA alumni are doing.)

If you'd like to stay in touch with the doings of other alumni, subscribe to the Alumni News list. And, if you're in either Washington State or Washington, DC, we have an email list for each area to advise you of occasional local, SMA-related events.
We email a weekly SMA Jobs List, and alumni are welcome to sign up for it. If you know of open jobs (and internships!) for which SMA students or alumni would be qualified, please let us know, as the jobs alumni let us know about are the backbone of the Jobs List.
