Career Services

Our mission is to teach our students and alumni the individual steps necessary for securing challenging, interesting and fulfilling jobs and internships in the marine affairs field. We offer a multitude of services and resources to assist our students and alumni in developing and sustaining successful careers. Our services include job and internship opportunities, career planning appointments, resume and cover letter reviews, interview and salary negotiation preparation, career development workshops, alumni panels and networking opportunities. Any student attending or graduating from SMA should feel confident that we are here to support their career goals. We want students, alumni and employers to feel comfortable speaking to us about their career concerns and employment needs. We welcome the opportunity to meet you and look forward to working with you.
